Santo Stefano is a great business that represents authentic Tuscan life. The property makes olive oil from its own groves, wine from its vineyard and has VRBO rental units on the property for an all encompassing Tuscan experience. The villa I was staying at was just down the road so a visit to Santo Stefano seemed inevitable.

My wife and I walked over and were promptly greeted by the owner (Stefano I presume) and his wife. We sampled a few of his wines, his "Drugo Chianti Classico" our favourite, the Chianti Classico not far behind. Santo Stefano makes great wine without the hype or name, to my palette better value... I preferred it to Castello di Verrazano's Chianti Reserva.

The olive oil made on the property is very high quality single estate, flavorful with good acidity... bought a few liters to take home... all I could fit in my suitcase.

The owners take pride in what they do which is apparent in quality of the products they produce. They are gracious and friendly, we spent quite some time chatting and they took us on a tour of the grounds and showed us some of the rentals they had available. Not the typical touristy experience but a real connection with owners who are proud of what they do.

Reccomended if you are looking for a less touristy Tuscan wine/olive oil experience.

Just a short drive up the hill outside of Greve, this place is very scenic and peaceful. Elena is a wonderful hostess and the wines, olive oil and vin Santo are some of the best around, especially the vin Santo.

Great location, beautiful and peaceful. Hosts were very welcoming and made efforts for group gatherings and wine tasting but could also do your own thing. Just stunning. Close to village with lots of restaurants and shops. I would go back there.

We visited Fattoria Santo Stefano for a few days and we found it to be a very nice Place where you easily can explore the region with car. The appartments were rather spacious and the area is just fantastic.
The wine from this Place is very nice too.

Wine selection was great. Very quiet during the evening and pool is available for a quick swim (not heated). Just a short drive to Greve for food, restaurants and shopping. It was easy to find and good location for touring Tuscany

Room Tip: We had the unit for 8 and had ample space for everyone. Breakfast option was delicious with farm fresh eggs
