Vicenzo and his wife are the best. Very friendly and willing to help you at any time. The house has an AMAZING view and you better eat Vicenzo's breakfast, otherwise he'll eat for you. :-)

The only thing I'd suggest is to strength the Wireless signal. We didn't have signal in the room but not a big deal. :-) I recommend this place to everyone.
Amazing atmosphere and beautiful city.

We got lost trying to get to the Hotel about 2030hrs in the evening and the GPS gave us wrong directions completely. The phone rang a couple of minutes after and it was Vincent, the owner of the Villa. He was worried and was wondering where we were. Yes, we didnt even know the man. He proposed on meeting us in a close landmark in the city center and then escorted us to his premises. Yes, there is a private parking on the top of a very high landmark in Minori, where the Villa was located. Vincent gave us the warmest welcome and showed so much care to the exhausted tired kids at the back of the car.

We were worried that the room might not be big enough for the family of four. Vincent anticipated and gave us a mega big room with one double bed and two single bed for the kids! He saw our tired face and invited to his personal home where his wife was waiting for us with freshly cooked biscuits and two glasses of wine for me and my wife. Unlike other b&b where they just give you the keys, obtain passport and credit card cheque; Vincent tells us about himself and his hobbies. This was fab, we felt so welcome as if we were visiting a close relative, Uncle Vincent!
This just put a smile on our face and he also made the kids felt so welcome!

Before going to bed i had to hang our some of our swimming gear outside the balcony line. Next morning, vincent moved it for us because it was drizzling in the morning when we were fast asleep.

The rooms was huge and all the requirements were there. It was a family villa maintained by vincent and the family. It felt more like a home than a typical hotel. The view was a million dollars. There was a bus every ten minute outside the villa therefore we didnt have to take our car when we went to the beach. Cause the parking in Minori was extortionate. The place is on one of the highest point in minori so it was ultimately quite!

Breakfast was continental, with homebake cookies and biscuits with yogurt and plenty of fruits.

When we left, again we were helped and greeted.

When we arrived tot he airport 200 miles later we discovered that my wife left a very important belonging at the hotel. Vincent and his wife searched high and low everywhere for it. Eventually they found this very important belonging and safe kept it for us!
If we left it in another italy hotel, this item would have been classes as lost. However we trusted vincent to find it for us and keep it safely for us!

He is like our uncle from italy, filled with so much care and charactor! We would recommend this place to any family who needs a place to relax when touring the Amalfi coast!

Room Tip: Give Vincent as much infor before you arrive and i am sure he will try his best to accomodate!

Just got back from a four night stay. Minori is a great place to stay along the Amalfi coast, not too busy with a great beach.
Staff at this B&B (Vincenzo and wife Camille) were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. A home made cake each day for breakfast was a real treat.
Thank you for a great stay...I will be back.

Villa Marietta was the highlight of my trip to Italy! Perfect location, no hassle or pretentiousness. Honest family running an honest business. Vincenzo and his lovely wife Carmela treated us like family. On the hills of the Amalfi coast, picturesque views and a refreshing escape from the hustle/bustle of the tourist traps in the area. I still can't believe I came across this place. Loved every minute.
Grazie Vingenzo and Viva L'Italia!!

We had a great time in this lovely B&B with the best views to the seaside and lovely afternoon sun on the terrace, quiet, peaceful setting and a warm, friendly host.

It can be very difficult to find, so allow yourself time to get there especially if you are not already familiar with Minori or the Amalfi coast area. It is accessible by car along Via Torre, which is a new cul-de-sac road up the mountain: Follow the signs to Il Campanile, pass Il Campanile, then follow the (new) road until you see a roped-off parking space then stop and see if you find a sign about thigh-high that faces the mountain. There will be a very rustic, small gate made out of wooden palettes. If you miss it, then you can go all the way up until there is another open space to turn around and try again. Alternatively a local community bus stops just out front upon request for €0.60 per ride.

By foot, it is a 12-20 minute walk up the stairs from the town, but the views along the way are great and it can be a fun way to get to know Minori.

Room was simple and clean with a nice bathroom and great view from the front door. Breakfast is simple Italian.

Overall, highly recommend if you want a tranquil, restful and simple B&B with great views over the town.

We would definitely stay again in Minori and at Villa Marietta.
