Just had a truly fantastic meal at la croix du sud. We had Dover sole and lamb couscous and both dishes tasted divine. Desert was Creme brûlée and ile (oleron) de flotant - all home made and were wonderful. Large portions!!

Would highly recommend this restaurant and the owner - Fred spoke excellent English and was very welcoming and friendly.

Once in a while, you stumble on somewhere absolutely enchanting, and this is one of those places. Excellent location, wonderful service, and great, reasonably priced cooking. Not a big menu, a good sign in my book, with everything we ate authentic and beautifully cooked.

We had the pleasure of visiting Fred and the team. The staff were excellent and very attentive to our needs, certainly not rushed and welcome to stay as long as we wanted. Food all made fresh and with passion and pride. Fred really wanted to hear feedback. The foie gras really is the best.

Would recommend phoning ahead to confirm availability. A great venue for all ages.

The manager was very welcoming.
I specially recommend the seafood couscous. Fresh, testy and large plate. The creme brulée is also a great desert of this restaurant.
As it is opened all year long we will come back for sure.
