We 3 friends stayed in 1 room of Hotel Hermitage for 2 nights in October 2017. We found this property to be quite nice, very quiet place, short distance away from highway which saved us from unnecessary traffic noise and dust. The room was of decent size - neither small nor too big. Washroom was clean and well maintained. Geyser was there in the bathroom, so no issues of hot water. The manger, Negi and the all-in-one boy, Pandit were quite polite and hospitable. They have a small dining area on the top floor, half enclosed with roof and half open to sky - satisfying everybody's choice. Though the kitchen was under renovation, but breakfast was provided (they do complimentary room service as well if asked for) - though the breakfast menu was highly limited but their Poha was very well made. And the best part was, when we asked them for simple dinner if possible (as we were tired are rafting and did not want to go out to Chotiwala), they served us nice rotis and excellent yellow dal - very well prepared, and salad as well. If you are okay with a non-lavish but comfortable accommodation, this is a real nice place. Overall, great value for money - worth each penny you spend.

You are very close to Laxman Jhula (5 min. walk), Red Chilli Adventures office (5 min. walk) and still little away from the hustle and bustle. From Laxman Jhula, one can take a shared ride (in bolero or similar vehicle) to Ram Jhula for only Rs. 10/- and vice versa. Chotiwala Restaurant (famous for food since more than 50 years) and Parmarth Ashram (for Ganga Aarti) are at Ram Jhula.

Very friendly helpful staff at the reception. Rooms are big and cozy. If there are not many people Wi-Fi is working well. Just the price seemed too high for me. There is a rooftop where you have a nice view.

This is a nice, calm and budget hotel to stay. I visited the hotel with my family in the month of August of 2017. As per them this is a off-peak time with very less tourist. The staff is helpful and welcoming.

I stayed at this hotel for the month of February. The staff was nice and helpful. The location was amazing because is was in a very clam place but still very close to everything you need. The roof top patio had and amazing view. The rooms were a good size with a nice size balcony. Really enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is very comfortable and well kept! The staff is helpful and always someone near by to assist if you need anything. It is very close to stores, restaurants and the main square is a short walk.
