We had been to the Murder Mystery Dinner previously and enjoyed the dinner & show. This visit, it was just okay. Not sure that it was worth the $130 price tag for 2. The show was more predictable than the last, but we were at a fun table and the actors were entertaining. The servers did a great job refilling drinks, coffee was hot & appetizers served were a nice start.
The crab legs have been replaced with peel and eat shrimp. The shrimp were good. The fingerling potatoes were too salty, so much we didn't even finish our serving.
Overall, it was an okay experience. We may or may not add it to our to do list next visit.

The food was excellent. There was ample time to get to meet your table, enjoy appetizers and the meal. Desserts were great. We never had to ask for drink refills! Great staff!

The play was a bit melodramatic but truly the butler - Victor was the star of the show! A man of few words, his inflections said it all!

Been to a lot of murder mystery dinners and all have been fun but usually the food is only so- so. The Massanutten Resort does it right! Great for all ages, if only the howling wasn't in my husband's ears!

This was your typical mystery dinner theater. Local actors did a good job. Humorous & personable.. the play is done right in front of you. You eat in courses... salad & horsd'oeuvres first, then the play intro begins. Next is the main course, followed by the main part of the play. A murder occurs during skit- but it is unclear who the culprit is. Your table will be asked to "solve" the heinous crime & give motive/ means after a chat with the characters. The meal was better than most mystery plays. I enjoyed the evening & the people I met at our table. Good luck to you sleuth!

Three of us signed up for the dinner theater. The meal was buffet style, with a cash bar. The food was fine. The play was ridiculous, but entertaining. A good way to spend your Wednesday evening.

We had a great dinner. We sat with other guests and used strategy to figure out who dun it! We won! But I can't tell you who it was!
