Owner description: Housed in a mansion that dates from the 18th century, visiting The Winery at La Grange is the perfect opportunity for you to escape your busy day. The Winery is easily accessible from route 66 in Northern Virginia, as we are only 40 miles from Washington, D.C. Our sprawling 20 acres include more than 8 acres of vineyards and with plenty of space for picnics, parties, weddings, or simply a romantic getaway for two.

I live 3.5 miles away from this winery and never even knew it. I'm so glad we went to check it out!
There are all kinds of wineries in northern Virginia, but this one is by far my favorite. The winery itself is a historical home with some pretty interesting history behind it. It's not a large contemporary winery, but that's what we absolutely love about it. This winery focuses on the wine and it shows! The setting and the home are quite beautiful, plenty of room to bring the kiddos too. Lots of room for them to run around outside. And they really are kid friendly, they don't just say that. VERY welcoming, family like atmosphere. If you do a tasting with Zach, you'll get an amazing ride through the history of the home and Virginia as well as the wine! Can't say enough good things about this place. It seriously never disappoints:)

We were invited to a going away party on 7/15/17 held at the winery. Upon our arrival we couldn't help but be awed by the grounds!!! The place looks like something out of a movie!!! People were sitting on blankets or at picnic table with baskets drinking wine listening to music. Our host is part of the wine club so after walking through the most quaint vineyard house we were brought out back where our party was. Amazing is the only way to describe the event!!! A complimentary tasting, live music, & food trucks (not complimentary). We were so sad to leave the vineyard, if your in the area you must go & if you live in the area join!!!

Great for gatherings with friends or families. Children are welcome and they have a fun time exploring. Picnic tables on the lawn and tables and chairs inside. Outside food is acceptable. Been there several times and my only downside is that most of the time there is a line to the restroom. Staff is helpful and ready to answer any questions.
Beautiful sunset, great wine, pleasant atmosphere...highly recommend it.

The Winery at La Grange just inside of Haymarket, VA is a great Saturday or Sunday afternoon visit.

Plenty of shade, live music, food, area for kids to play, just an all in all beautiful relaxing property.

Our tasting rep this past Sunday was Bria. Bria was great! Very helpful and thorough on explaining all the wines.

The property itself is a beautiful 19th century residence/estate. It's impressive just to walk the property and feel the history. All the better to have a glass of wine in hand and good food too.

This is our third or fourth visit to La Grange. We'll be back for sure!

The wine tasting was nice. It was our first and we have since gone to other wineries, so we will go back for a more seasoned review.
