Stayed here 12/5/23. Property and room were very clean. Comfortable room, some of the most comfortable pillows I have ever had at a hotel. Good location to interstate. Good complimentary breakfast. Some of the best sausage gravy for a hotel breakfast. Friendly staff. I would recommend and return.
This place was clean. Friendly staff. Great water pressure in the shower. One night stay. We ate the breakfast there. It was very good. Cereals, pancakes. Yogurts, toaster items, cinnamon buns, fruit, and hot selections. Would return if in the area.
The hotel is clean and comfortable (if a bit dated). It appears they are getting ready for a renovation but quite honestly we found our room to be just fine. The staff is friendly and the morning breakfast had a nice variety (thanks for the egg whites and turkey sausage!). The hotel is just off the interstate.
Their is very little around this location and you will have about a 10 minute drive to restaurants (other than Cracker Barrel which is right across the street).
It would be great if they would provide a list of restaurants in the area as the women on duty at check-in really had no idea what to recommend.
Overall you will not be disappointed.
After a long 12 hour drive from Florida my husband and I were very happy to have arrived at our hotel.
The Holiday Inn Express in Christiansburgh VA is very well located off of 81 North .
I had called prior to arriving to ask for directions and was warmly greeted by Jackson.
He was very helpful in giving us directions .When we actually arrived at the hotel Jackson was as
kind,helpful and welcoming as he was on the phone .A true professional !
Our room ( 114) with a King bed was very nicely appointed and clean .The bed was extremely comfortable as
were the pillows .The toilettries were of nice quality .We had a great night’s sleep .
There are a few restaurants in the area to choose from Ie Ruby Tues,Cracker Barrel and a family owned Sports Bar within walking distance .We had a nice dinner and drink at the latter .
The breakfast area is very nicely set up .We only wanted coffee and yogurt so we really can’t comment on
what was actually available but it appeared that there was a very nice choice of breakfast items for
guests to choose from .
We would definitely stay at this hotel again .It has everything one needs for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I stayed at the hotel during the time of the VT Spring Football game (not our reason for visiting). Holiday Inn Express' is my go-to hotel when traveling. For the weekend we went, the price was fair. The hotel was exceptionally clean, to include the stairwells. I often judge hotels by the cleanliness of their stairwells. The room we stayed in was spotless. I absolutely loved the Dove products in the bathroom. Shower was clean. Room was spacious. Beds were so comfortable; I honestly haven't slept that well in a while. So much so, we almost missed breakfast the first morning. Speaking of breakfast, it was delicious and constantly being stocked. The woman working the breakfast area, ensured everything was stocked and the food was hot and fresh. All of the staff we encountered was pleasant and happy to help. I was even able to get a pack n play for my hotel room and the staff set if up for me. This is an extra touch that puts this hotel over the top! I would 100% stay again and recommend this hotel!
