I had an excellent stay at this hotel, which is ideally situated right on the edge of the Virginia Tech campus. The location couldn't be better, with plenty of free parking available and a wide selection of restaurants and cafes just a short walk away. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed, making for a very pleasant stay. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area—it truly offers a wonderful experience! edge of Virginia Tech campus. Plenty of free parking, lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Rooms are clean and nice! The service was also excellent! highly recommend

Great place to stay near campus, shops and restaurants.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was a busy graduation weekend but you would not have know due to the preparedness and attention to detail. Clean room,
well maintained and stocked breakfast bar and the front desk staff went above and beyond to help my elderly mother (who does not like to travel), feel comfortable and welcome.

Perfect location

Great location. Hotel is in the heart of the VT campus and the town of Blacksburg. We stay each time we are in town visiting our son at VT. A great bonus is the property is located next to a CVS pharmacy and Chipotle in case you need anything once you check in.

Room tip: Parking lot is shared by other businesses, so the lot can be full. The hotel serves breakfast, which is a bonus.

Stay elsewhere! Needs a new cleaning manager.

Staff at front desk was very accommodating but cleaning needs help! I had to move rooms twice and gave up on the last room. All dirty and dusty! First room the bed had been slept in or at least laid on because there was hair on the pillow and another pillow had mascara on it. Fridge was dirty and floors not vacuumed in second room. They really need to look at hiring new cleaning staff. Also, the lady room the window in the bedroom was warped so you could hear traffic all night. Woke up with nasal congestion and sneezing, due to dust and pollen. Would recommend staying at the other hotel in same area. Only reason I gave three stars was the front desk was very nice and did everything they could to get me a clean room.

Love the Residence Inn, Blacksburg, VA!

VERY nice hotel! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our stay was amazing. After checking out and driving six hours home, we realized we left some personal belongings behind. Trista and Jessica, on staff at the hotel went out of their way to find our stuff and mail it to us. I highly recommend the Residence Inn, Blacksburg, VA. Looking forward to visiting again soon!
