Description: Morrisville, Vermonts historic train station has been transformed into a vibrant & fun gathering place. Where friends can meet up at our comfortable 30 seat brass bar for generous martini's, delicious wines, 12 carefully selected craft beers on tap & most importantly, welcoming service . The former railway platform has comfortable seating for guests looking for a relaxing meal & is the pefect place to meet up before or after a show at The Bijou Theatre. With our creative & savory "made from scratch" menu & attentive staff, we are setting a new standard in casual dining.

We were here in early October, and were seated immediately at a window table. The atmosphere was nice (warm and casual), and the waitstaff was attentive. My husband ordered the soup of the day, cheeseburger macaroni, which we shared. It was fabulous! We both ordered the half rack or ribs, and neither one of us cared for it. We are accustomed to a sweet barbecue sauce on ribs, and this one was the North Carolina style, which is not sweet at all. This is not the fault of the restaurant, just a difference in cooking styles. The meat portion was very large. The french fries were good. If I am in the area again I would return, but would order something different. I am giving it 4 stars because I don't feel I should fault them that we don't like their style of sauce. We found out that this is the most popular one in Vermont.

We stopped here for lunch after biking on the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. The setup is sort of odd. There is a quite large restaurant and a bar/café area inside, and about 4 tables outside. The inside areas were empty at lunchtime on a Monday, and the outside seating was all occupied...not surprising, since it was glacial inside and a lovely warm day outside. But someone left, so we got a table outside. We both had bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato and turkey sandwiches. A BLATT? A departure from a normal BLT. They came with nice chips and a layer of something that appeared to be fried cheese. The sandwiches were huge and surprisingly good. I ate mine all up.

Had a great dinner with friends. Loved the atmosphere and the food. I had a filet that was cooked just right and my husband had the prime rib which he said was delicious. Will eat here again.
