We were here in early October, and were seated immediately at a window table. The atmosphere was nice (warm and casual), and the waitstaff was attentive. My husband ordered the soup of the day, cheeseburger macaroni, which we shared. It was fabulous! We both ordered the half rack or ribs, and neither one of us cared for it. We are accustomed to a sweet barbecue sauce on ribs, and this one was the North Carolina style, which is not sweet at all. This is not the fault of the restaurant, just a difference in cooking styles. The meat portion was very large. The french fries were good. If I am in the area again I would return, but would order something different. I am giving it 4 stars because I don't feel I should fault them that we don't like their style of sauce. We found out that this is the most popular one in Vermont.
