try back after construction. it is a disaster currently. no lobby. no service in the room unless you request it. If you could pay $49.00 for the room it would be pushing it... $150.00 like I paid is a joke.

Thank you for writing a review. We are saddened to know that your experience was anything less than satisfying due to the condition of the hotel and the service as well as the availability of lobby at that time. As we pride ourselves on delivering a memorable hotel experience, we are sorry that we failed to meet your expectations. We hope that you will reconsider and give us another chance to provide you with an experience that is truly excellent in all aspects.

Hotel undergoing renovations which was not disclosed when reservations were made No pool, fitness room, and breakfast a microwaved frozen sandwich! Almost $200/night and Motel 6 would have been a better choice!

The hotel is under construction. This was not communicated to me when I booked. The hotel that was advertised was not at all the hotel I found on arrival.

There was no hot water for most of the time during my stay.

The hotel I booked had a pool. I was looking forward to using the pool. There was no pool.

My room was next to the rail road. While I understand this is something that the hotel cannot control. The hotel or the booking company should have let me know. Every time a train went by, which was anytime night or day, the whole room shook, as if I were experiencing an earthquake. At the very least, the hotel should have given me a substantial discount for having been waken every night, all night, by the trains.

Most hotels have a cable tv package for their guests. What I saw was a handful of unusual tv stations, related to no cable provider. Also, there were no news channels. There was no indication on the tv itself or in paper, describing or naming the tv stations or their number. I asked the front desk for this information. I was told that housekeeping would bring this information to my room. They did not. Later, I found a little slip of paper at the front desk, for the guests, a little smaller than a business card, indicating the tv channels available, by number. But, still no information on what the channels were.

Housekeeping services, I was told, was only available if the guests requested it. So, on the first morning there was no coffee available in my room. I had to wait for the coffee in the breakfast room. Even after I specifically requested housekeeping services, the services seemed unusual or inadequate. For example, they provided fresh towels, but didn't pick up used towels. They didn't touch the unmade bed. They took away used coffee service for two and replaced it with one. Also, in the bathroom there was a little pile of dirt, hair, and nails (not mine!) in the corner. It was clear that the housekeepers cleaned the bath, but not the corners. I specifically asked the front desk to let the housekeeper know about this, but nothing was done. (Room 423).

The phone in my room wasn't working. So, all of the issues mentioned above- the housekeeping, coffee, etc. I had to communicate to the front desk in person because I had no phone in my room. I had no number for the hotel to call from my cell phone. There was a physical land line phone in the room but it didn't seem to be connected to anything.

The air conditioner in my room was so loud, it was impossible to sleep, even if the rail road didn't keep my awake. So, the choice was to stay awake due to sweltering heat or from the unbearable noise of the AC.

At breakfast, there should be some good fruit choices. What I saw were hard-as-rocks Granny Smith apples and pale past-their-prime mushy oranges. There was an over diluted apple-type juice that didn't have any taste.

At one point during my visit, about halfway through, my key cards suddenly stopped working, for no discernable reason. So, I had to get them replaced.
In the bathroom, the plug in the sink was inoperable. To make it work, one had to physically pull it out and push it in with one's fingers.

The outlet plugs for electric and electronic devices comes all the way out of the wall when one unplugs the device. This exposes a bunch of dangerous wires. There is no plate or screws securing the outlet plate to the wall or desk.

And finally, when I was checking out, I used the lady's room near the public area/front desk. There were no paper towels.

I have stayed at this hotel several time while visiting my son. Thus it seemed like a perfect place for our family to stay for his wedding. That was a mistake. The hotel had been sold and the new owners kept it open during renovations. That made the stay a nightmare.

Our rooms were on the 4th floor, and only one of the elevators were working - part time. Also the water was turned off from 10-3 each day, which would have provided problems for a 2pm wedding. After sufficient yelling at the managers, they did turn the water back on from 11-12 so we could shower for the wedding. They also agreed to have the elevators available for two 70+ couples to get their luggage down for checkout.

I felt very sorry for the managers - they were caught between the guests and the owners. They did do their best. Fortunately my army son has rotated to a new assignment in another state, so I will never have to stay there again.
