Clean, well equipped apartment with nice Savoie interior, basic comfort and great service at reception. Well organised team, can-do attitude and well in tune with the requirements of international guests. One downside: the great spa complex does not have supervision and rude behaviour by some of the guests disturbed the atmosphere for other guests.

Lovely apartment. Great location near the Bettex slope. Nice sauna and friendly reception staff. Maybe 1 tip of advice: ask guests to be silent after 10pm. Had 2 bad nights because the neighbours upstairs decided to clean their apartment from 12am till 2pm.

I was very wary of staying here after reading the bad reviews, however I wanted to write a review on our trip so that others in a similar position could hopefully be put at ease. We arrived later than check in on arrival day and rang in advance and our keys were put at reception in an envelope so we could pick up and we're asked to check in the next day. We had a 3 bed apartment for the 6 of us and it was huge. 1 double bedroom with small shower room, one bathroom with a bath and separate toilet, 2 twin rooms upstairs with a further bathroom with shower and toilet. All very spacious and clean. The living area was very large and nice high ceilings and a decent size balcony and had a sofa bed if there were more of us. The kitchen was well equipped with all you would need for a week in terms of pots and pans, mixing bowls, utensils, kettle, cutlery, bowls and plates....if anything would have been great to have one more cupboard for food storage but we made do with what we had and there are places you can stash things so this is minor, we bought a lot with us as we drove but if you're buying daily then you won't notice. Bedding is provided, it is basic but adequate, a sheet to cover the mattress, a pillow case and pillow, a sheet to then lay over you and also a top cover if you get cold. You have to do this on arrival but takes 2 minutes. There is storage for clothes either in the rooms or a cupboard on the landing for one of the rooms upstairs.towels aren't provided but they are €7 per person for the week....it's the cost of a pint so in hindsight not a lot. We took our own but also bought 2 packs for extras for when we went to the pool. The pool was in a different building to us but a 30 second walk, really lovely, couple of steam rooms and a sauna and a pool with views over the mountains. It was quiet whenever we went but probably due to time of year we had gone. Reception does close in the day but as you're likely to be out skiing at the time it's closed then you won't notice it. Internet does cost extra but as I was on holiday and wanted to be out skiing and then in an evening actually talk to my family it didn't matter to me about not having it. There is a wifi area near reception if you're desperate, a few of the group used it to download a song and check crossing information but other than that we didn't bother.

A few minor points:

- only one sofa in an apartment designed for 8, there were 2 stools but would have been nice for everyone to be able to sit and relax and chat, we ended up sitting round the table playing cards every night so we could sit together

-it's quite far out from the centre, there are buses to take you to the main area which run every 20mins and the local shop is only a 10min walk but this is uphill. Not their fault but just a point.

- if there is no snow then you can't ski in or out. We had a fresh dump of 30cm on arriving in resort but by the end of the week of a lot of sun this was fast disappearing at the bottom of the mountains. The run down past the apartments is Bettex and this said piste closed. We chanced it as we knew it from using it daily and was just a bit slushy and worn with patches near the bottom so we got down it but we are advanced skiers so I wouldn't recommend if the warning sign is there.

-ski in/out means a 2 min walk from our boot room, up a small slope and then up some stairs which did get quite icey before the sun got on them. But it's a lot quicker than getting a bus!

- parking was plentiful but may have been time we visited. One negative was the parking is at the top of the slope mentioned above and it was snowing heavily which made it a nightmare to get stuff into our apartment. There is a barrier and disabled parking outside our block so if you arrive when reception is open they could open this to allow you down? We didn't explore as they were closed but just a thought.

We had a great week there though and would probably come back and get a lift pass for the whole 3 valleys and not just les menuires (however sounds like Meribel and courcheval didn't have much snow so glad we didn't this time) we got our apartment for a great price and had a great experience. I would recommend purchasing baked goods from the lady coming round. We ordered 2 baguettes and a croissant each which came to €50 for 5 days which sounds pricey but was less than €2 pp per day and was there fresh when we woke up so didn't have to go out and fetch ourselves.

I appreciate not everyone has the same experience when they go away but ours was very good.

We booked an appartment at Belambra clubs - Le Hameau des Airelles 2 months ago. We already paid the advanced money, but one week ago they cancelled our reservation without any explanation.

Belambra clubs is impossible to contact and when we finally got in touch with someone of the reception, she said she didn't know what went wrong and that we just have to deal with it and that we will get our money back. Now we are 3 weeks away from our planned ski-holiday and we have no appartment at all and every likewise appartment is already doubled and tripled in price. We already paid for our skis and skipasses.

The reason why belambra clubs cancelled our reservation is probably because now our appartment is being offered at €2500 for one week! But two months ago we paid only €1000 for the same appartment. This is really offsetting and now we know that Belambra is a real fraud.

Starting from pros:
+staff is very helpful and friendly,
+apartment looks nice and was clean
cons:
- u have to pay 50 euros for the internet! if u want one in your room, seriously in 2017 we have to pay for it?
- beds were not made and we didn't have enough sheets and pillows which was ridiculous.
- they charge you for towels,
- ski room is not heated so u can't leave your ski shoes in there,
- they don't even take the trash out from the apartment,
- you need to bring your own paper towel,
- there is long way from the ski run to the hotel and it's icy.

Dear guest,

In spite of your positive review of our helpful and friendly staff, we are sorry to read that our offer contains some points that need to be improved.
First of all, access to the WiFi network is free of charge in the lobby and at the bar. You do not have to pay for it.
As a holiday resort, sheets are left in your accomodation prior to arrival.
For stays of 2 weeks or more, sheets are changed every intervening weekend.
You can select our "Service Plus" option for a small extra charge. By doing it this way, beds will be done prior to arrival and towels will also be left in your accomodation. Cleaning will also be included at the end of your stay.
However, towels can also be rented separately.

We note that you felt inconvenienced by the absence of boot warmers in the locker room.

We wish to have the opportunity to welcome you back again in our hotels and resorts across France.

Best regards,

Clémence de Belambra.
