First time in a Hotel that matches Hotels back in the UK for service and comfort. The Hotel is clean, well situated and staff who bend backwards to help. I have stayed at many villas and Hotels and this has been the best in France. Previously i have found staff to be a little unfriendly towards non French. Not here.
The rooms are just about the right size, they were cleaned every day and towels replaced without asking. The ski lockers are on the top floor, which goes straight out onto the slopes. The only issue is if you have kids and book ski lessons with non ESF. It is then a 10 min bus ride(free), which is a hassle. Not sure why Crystal do not use ESF as there is a school right outside the door to this Hotel. If you don't need lessons, then its perfect.
We also had a promotion week and were given 300 Euros to spend in the bar, most welcome and paid for the bulk of our alcohol.
WiFi was fast and i was able to watch Netflix in the evening with no issues.
They have a wooden shelves as you first enter the room, so can leave boots and coats to dry as the lockers only fit x2 ski's and poles. We walked through reception with boots on and staff were happy.
Food is top class, we went half board. Breakfast is continental, but also have UK cereals (coco puffs) so kids happy. You can eat as much as you like. The evening meals on the menu are 4 courses and of very high standard (A la Carte) . In fact it was nice to eat out and have some good old junk food. the price was 32E a head, but we paid an all inclusive with Crystal so cant complain. It felt a bit odd eating this quality of food on a ski holiday.
There is a swimming pool next to the hotel, but at 14e per person, a bit expensive. did have a sauna room, so didnt want much more and didn't have the energy to use the exercise equipment.
Will not comment on the skiing or travel etc, as most people will know about the 3 Valleys or can find out, this is just the hotel.
Would def come to this hotel again.

Room Tip: We have a room with balcony looking away from the resort

We had a week skiing booked true crystal and did now what to expect ....as we usually go to Austria this was my first time in a ski hotel in France

This was definitely one of the nicest experiences we have had, mainly thanks to wonderful people that work there.

Everybody is super helpful and pleasant and they go out of their way to do everything they can to help you.
the bar and reception staff at the hotel deserve extra commendations simply amazing!

The hotel is just a couple of steps from the ski lift, and the slope ends across the street from the hotel, so from that aspect you really can't ask for anything more.
We will definitely stay in this hotel when we come to the area next time!

we actually just booked a long weekend to stay at the sister hotel in Chamonix in a couple of weeks cant wait....
.
many thanks .

This hotel is built into a hill and the higher floors have the better views. They have drying racks in the bathrooms, and you can use the hair dryer effectively as a boot drier. They have a locker storage room for the skis and then a room to put on your stuff if you haven't already. Then you walk right out and in a couple of minutes you are at the gondola which takes you to the top of the St. Martin Valley and access to the rest. The beds are very comfortable, the front desk people very helpful and the breakfast is fine although for some reason the scrambled eggs aren't good but there is plenty of choice. Quiet at night. Down comforters. Small fridge. Grocery store across the street.

Room Tip: Higher floors are better for views.

The hotel is hard to fault. To start with the rooms are cosy (and that's not a euphemism for small) and well equipped, the shower really good, and there is a great view of the mountain opposite. The food was delicious. Plenty of choice at breakfast, lots of fresh fruit and bread/pastries and a real treat when pancake man was there. Dinner was a joy. We ate the 4 course menu of the day included in the price and it was wonderful. An imaginative chef, interesting combinations, beautifully prepared and presented. There wasn't anything we didn't like. And the Tartiflette and Raclette are not for the faint hearted but worth the effort! The restaurant staff and kitchen staff were friendly and helpful. The Bar is a great place to relax after a long day's skiing and the cocktails worth a look. I will definitely be back here if I return to Les Menuires. My other half was here last year and said it has got even better. The hot wine and chocolate at the end of the day was a welcome treat.

The NIggles? The ski lockers are really tiny and even a couple of hooks to hang helmets etc would be good. The toilets by the ski locker room absolutely stink. An issue last year too. Not sure why, but please - get a plumber; it was really unpleasant walking through.

We are currently half way through our stay here and I cannot fault this hotel. We booked with Crystal and are apparently in a superior room (502) which has a comfy super king size bed, balcony and good sized bathroom and a great view of the slopes. It's very quiet especially at night which is perfect. The food is fantastic - four course dinners with delicious food served by the most charming staff. Breakfast is equally good with a help yourself buffet and a good selection of food. There are some nice touches here too - free vin Chaud and cake when returning from skiing and English newspapers at breakfast. It's the small things that count. Best of all is a fabulous bar area and lounge with a log fire which is a lovely place to sit after a hard day on the slopes. And best of all its ski in and ski out. We cannot fault this place and would thoroughly recommend it. We shall certainly be returning.
