The bartenders ripped me off on 4 different occasions.
They inflate your bar tab.
This place is a scam operation.
I complained to the manager.

Full crew family dinner time in Garland, Texas. Mr. G suggested this place and the menu was kid friendly. As you park, its in a trafficked area so keep an eye. They have inside and outside areas for you to eat. When you enter the place has an upscale feel to it. We were greeted and taken to a both. Our server was nice yet needed some more practice with his server skill set. We ordered calamari as an appetizer that was warm. Warm calamari is not a good way to start a meal. The more we viewed the menu and the look of the place, you can imagine this place the child of an Applebee's with Bennigans marriage. My two monkeys ordered off the child's menu ( glazed chicken and pizza). Wife ordered stuffed chicken with sweet potato fries. I had the fish and chips minus fries with green beans as a substitute. I took my kids to wash their toxic filled hands. They are large and located behind the bar in the back of the restaurant. The bathrooms interesting and felt like I was at Sea World ( imagine the look). The food arrived and the pizza was made on French bread with fries. The glaze chicken has a oriental flavor covered in Wong Tong chips. The boys enjoyed it and finished the plate. The stuffed chicken seasoning left much to be desired. The fish was flavourful with a slight bread covering. The green beans had no true taste. We waited for our bill and server didn't arrive until he saw our family walk out as I waited for check. I'll probably return yet for the price and lack of flavor I probably won't make it a top place to visit.

Houlihan's is a fun or quiet place, as you need or want. Located in Firewheel, Garland's finest it has a good following. It is large enough and still quaint. Outside has covered seating w/ firepits and staff service. Happy Hour prices on drinks and appetizers is excellent. You can make a meal on the appetizers alone. Great for date arrangement or crowd arrangement. Won't say you will never be disappointed, just that you have a good chance of a good meal good drink and good time. Enjoy

While shopping at Firewheel, we stopped at Houlihan’s for dinner. We just had a quick meal of queso and salads. The queso included both chips and potato skins, which I liked. I chose the chicken Asian chop salad and it was a huge portion and way more than I could eat. The food was pretty average and nothing was remarkable, but the service was good.
