Was tired from pulling a trailer and just needed a place to crash the night. Super 8 in Carthage was fairly priced. We were pleasantly surprised with the breakfast the next morning - never had hot items in a Super 8 before, but there were eggs, sausage, and gravy, along with the more common waffle iron (this one had 2 - both with some unusual designs, though!), cereal, and danishes. It also offered hard-boiled eggs, bananas, and apples - even cranberry juice! Best breakfast at a Super 8 I've ever had! Service was very good, too. Semis and vehicles pulling trailers can park at the adjacent truck stop.
