This great place opened only a few weeks ago, and I am thrilled! As a female RVer who pulls her own rig, carries a small dog along, and enjoys both privacy and interaction, I love this place. For RVers, it has 50 amp, water and sewer on every spot, and 15 pull-throughs!! Free hi-speed wifi! Lots of wifi towers everywhere, even out on the trails. Everything is brand new, great large picnic tables, and fire pits--they sell wood in bundles for $4 and will have it at your site when you arrive upon request. The retreat is owned and operated by a young couple, Joanna and Nick, who understand customer service. This is a great place to get away and do a lot of walking and hiking, or riding the trails on a UTV--you can bring your own or rent one when you get here. A horse trail is in the works. They have a nicely stock little store, including an ice cream freezer. Somehow they managed to develop this 500 acres without sacrificing all the trees for their RV spots--not like those big parks that feel like a parking lot. There's a pool with rock sides, new playground equipment, and cabins for rent for every budget and every size. What a great place for a family reunion (there's a pavilion that would hold about 75 I think) or a corporate retreat. It's open year round, and the owners live onsite in a renovated home that is cute as can be. Don't miss the lookout point, even if you drive a car to it (panoramic mountain view). Located almost exactly midway between Nashville and Knoxville, two minutes off I-40. I cannot wait to come back.

Room Tip: Call Joanna and Nick and tell them your needs and they will fit you into the perfect spot.
