We were a large group of people visiting the restaurant for a pub food dinner. The service at the bar was not quick but once we had ordered the food came very quickly and was of a very high standard. We ordered a variety of dishes and
all of them were of a very high standard.

This is a nice hotel and is very well priced, but the rooms are quite dated.

The bathroom and facilities are ok. The pub attached does general pub food at reasonable prices.

If I was in the area I would probably consider a cheap night here instead of your usual chain hotels.

One night stop over but no disabled rooms or walk in showers. Food was ok could have done without the silver service for a large coach party - takes far too long. The staff though were absolutely brilliant.

Stayed for one night with my daughter in a twin and while the hotel is slightly dated it was clean and very well presented. Outside is peaceful and pleasant. Food was good with a varied menu for dinner and breakfast offering something for everyone and restaurant staff lovely, attentive and helpful at both dinner and breakfast. Would stay again.

We stayed after the Aintree Grand National and wow were we surprised! The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and the reception area is roomy and plush and when we went to our room we were shocked by the size of it,it was huge and lovely and comfy with a sofa and dressing table plus the biggest bed I’ve ever seen. We had a lovely evening meal and a good night in the bar with a fabulous singer entertaining us! Thank you for making our first trip to the Grand National a lovely rememberable occasion! Plus we backed the winner!
