Description: Of all the clubs and bars on Beale Street, Rum Boogie Cafe is the one not to miss. If their superfine rum selection and beer aren't enough to entice you, the Cajun and barbecue menu should-ribs, fried catfish, gumbo and red beans and rice served by fast and friendly servers. Wandered in off the streets, hungry and travel weary....scored big! The doorman charged 3$ each because of the live blues band...it was cash well spent cuz the band was awesome and crowd inspiring. Ordered the full rack of ribs (wet), potato salad and fried green tomatoes. We licked the bones and the plate clean. Excellent experience and definately recommended! Fall of the bones, in just the right way, perfectly dressed rack of ribs....Mmmm Mmmm!

Visited here right on Beale street. There was an excellent band playing. We enjoyed them so much. Really cool all the famous musician guitars on the ceiling and walls. Found U2’s guitar. We also ate here. Had the nachos and burger. 5/5. Definitely stop in for a drink and some food and listen to the great local music if you are in the area.

Place looked good and band sounded ok so we decided to give it a go. Only place we got charged to go in (only 3 dollars) got wrong meals but as were hungry anyway we decided to have them. Got no cutlery for my meal and eventually had to go up and get someone to get me a fork. Very few staff for busy restaurant and the bloke in the red t shirt was hopeless. Band were ok but whereas most venues we tip the staff 15% and 10 bucks for the band we left a small tip for the waitress, as she was good and nothing for the band as hipefully the cover charge goes to them. Beer was good.

The drinks were great!!! But the Fried Green Tomatoes were amazing! Great atmosphere to hang out with friends and get a quick bite to eat and enjoy the music and drinks>

My husband and I were hungry and in a hurry to get to our Sun City tour. We stopped here really have lunch. We both had the pulled pork sandwich, which was good, but not the greatest pulled pork I have ever had. But the service was friendly and quick.
