Stopped in for lunch on the way out...I had a bowl of gumbo, he had the pulled pork sandwich. Both were excellent! Best gumbo I ate, down on beale. The live blues band rocking out on stage, added to the good vibe and rhythms of the Memphis blues scene. Recommended stop by, even if just for a drink and live music!

This was our second visit to Memphis. First time was before our daughter was born. Our daughter is 13 and we went back and we were able to sit upstairs and enjoy the band and a fantastic B.B. King Blues house band. The Nachos and Fried pickles were delicious! Good food, drinks and music! Can’t wait to go back again. There was a small cover charge for the band. Food and drinks were delicious and reasonable.

My daughter and I went here because I wanted some ribs and she saw that the kids menu had ice cream for dessert.
We sat right down and ordered. It didn’t take long to get our food and it was delicious. I had the Lip Smacking Ribs, baked beans and French fries. My daughter ate the burger sliders and we got to listen to some Blues music.

The chicken and waffles was the tastiest dish I've had in a long time, while the peach cobbler disappointed. The Killer Beez were a very good band, while the house band was good it wasn't as dynamic as the Killer Beez. All around, our food was very good, as was the service.

great experience, good service and good food. The menu is full but you had better like to eat meat. I would return there for food anytime.
