I stayed here for one night in November as part of a business trip.
First impressions were not great, left standing at reception while the 2 female staff member were serving table in the "restaurant" which if truth be told is a lounge bar that does food.
When I got to the room up the stairs with the very tired carpet I was very disappointed the room was tiny and smelt strongly of the detergent they use for the duvet's.
I decided to have my diner here which was not too bad as pub grub goes.
I was amazed that the hotel was closed and locked up by 10pm. if you are staying in Tain use one of the other hotels and avoid the St Duthus.More
