Stopped by for lunch. I had ploughmans lunch followed by cream tea. Great value for money and a cosy atmosphere with the lovely wood burner. Friendly staff ☺

Lovely home made soup and warm bread roll! Need I say more. Rest of menu looked really good, shame I was only looking for a light lunch. Reasonably prices too.

We had just done a beautiful 10 mile walk on Dartmoor. We stopped at the Wayside Cafe for some lunch. The menu was great, the pasties yummy followed by homemade apple and rhubarb crumble. All served by a friendly, chatty lady. The Cafe has a great history and it is worth taking time to read all the information inside the Cafe ( we were outside in the sunshine).
Definitely worth a visit. Next time we are in Dartmoor we will return.

We went there for a Devon cream tea, and we were not disappointed, great home made scones, friendly service and although they were busy we were made to feel an individual.
