Despite the rain and cold weather we followed the suggested route through the park and thoroughly enjoyed it. Educational, great informative signs, very clean and a great shop and café. Definitely worth a couple of hours. We took the bus there and back and it all worked very well.

This place does amazing work - trying to save some of the world's most endangered animals. So, well worth the £16 when put in context.

I first came here in the 1980s and it is still an impressive place. I won't go to regular Zoos but Jersey is different.

The Livingstone Fruit bats are my favourite. Only 1200 left in the wild and 50+ are here at Jersey, the ONLY place in the world trying to save them.

You need a good 4-5 hours to do the place justice. Don't just rush around to the 'big ticket items', there are lots of smaller animals/areas to explore which are worth hunting out.

Consider adopting an animal and helping the zoo save some of these amazing creatures.

Very good zoo, plenty of animals to see and the keeper talks are more interesting than I thought they would be.

Our second visit here. It was a bit rainy and some animals were in hibernation but still comfortably spent around 2 hrs here. Its a bit pricy compared to othere wildlife parks i have visited and the bear which was out was acting a bit distressed as well as the gorrillas. I was most impressed by the fruit bats and how close you got to them.

Zoo is average, don't expect too much.. keeper talks are good especially gorilla and Orangutans. Don't miss the meal at the visitor center cafe.. it is unbelievably good.

Dear Alok S

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of Jersey Zoo. We are sorry that, in contrast with most of the reviews on this site, you were disappointed with your visit, although we are glad that you enjoyed the keeper talks - they are a great way to learn more about our wonderful animals and the work that is being done to save them. We are also pleased that you had a good meal at the Firefly Cafe and will pass on your words to our catering team.

We do hope you come and see us again - perhaps on a sunny day when you can enjoy watching the animals in our beautiful grounds.

With kind regards
The Durrell Team
