I stayed for 4 lovely nights at the Stafford Hotel last May. The Hotel main lobby and reception area was clean, tidy and the receptionists were very welcoming and friendly. The room was situated on the ground floor looking out on the yard and the bins. I would have preferred being up a few floors facing the front. The floor boards are squeaky but that's what you get in an older hotel. that did not bother me. The room was very basic and a bit dated, however it was spotlessly clean and it was cleaned everyday. I could not fault the cleaning staff they did a great job. The Hotel is perfectly situated for all the sights in St Heller the shops are just a 10 to 15 mins walk away, the lovely esplanade is just straight down the bottom of the road just a 5 min walk away. The staff could not to enough for you. I asked them to help me book trips winch they did so and was no trouble for them. The lounge was lovely to sit in comfy chairs, couches which to give it a lovely homely feel. The breakfast was buffet on offer was exceptional and the cooked breakfast was lovely hot and a great start to your day. The dining hall was lovely, clean and spacious. The waiting staff were so warm and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay at the Stafford Hotel. The room had tea and coffee making facilities winch is nice to have a hot drink at night and when you wake up in the morning.

The hotel is old and dated and is in need of a total upgrade. Mind we did see into another room which appeared a lot better than hours. The carpet was grubby and the walls were all marked. In on corner there was a Rentokil bug collector. On the plus side the staff were pleasant, the bed was clean and the breakfast was good. But as we found out to the end of the trip the hotel and half the street are due to be demolished so the general hospital can be expanded. This is the reason not money has been spent for some time. It would be a total waste of time which is a real shame as the hotel is in a good position for exploring St Helier and the rest of the island

Well, hotel is really very dated, poor, rooms, very basic, beds & pillows hard & squeaky, thin walls, pubes in bath tub, 4 basic tv channels on a tv so old that your nan would have used it. Breakfast, only the sausage & toast was nice
I have nothing good to say about this place. Its like a hostel, its bad

Very friendly, lovely breakfast with plenty of variety. Room a bit shabby but clean and tidy. Perfect place to stay for walking into town, buses, places to eat. It’s just a pity it could be gone soon to extend the hospital as it’s a very popular hotel and the prices are very reasonable.

This hotel is very old looking, the room we stayed in was worn out the bathroom is very small, the bed was comforable and it was not noisy sleep well. Tv has only 5 channels wifi not that good,I fount that if you go to the revere just down the road and put wifi on there it seems to come on quite when u go to the Stafford.staff was nice and helpful.Breakfast was not bad we were self catering.
You have to pay for parking wherever u go u get booklet hotel charges 92p for 1 hr its is cheaper at esso garage or Morrison just down road.you can park your car in garage just near Morrison.
I fount it quite expensive to eat there.if you can get a car and drive round island you will love it.

Room tip: You can park anywhere after 5 pm for free .
