Service was excellent from very friendly staff, we just had a starter and main, unfortunately the whitebait wasn’t available so I ordered the coquile for a starter which was very pleasant. I had the rack of lamb for a main which came as four French trimmed cutlets cooked perfectly to medium rare as requested, this came with sautéed potatoes rice, green beans and carrots. It’s been a long time since I had lamb as good as that. We didn’t have any puddings as we had sufficient from the main and starter. My wife had the pan fried scallop with pan fried bacon and garlic and thoroughly enjoyed them, yet more good cooking. For a main she had beef medallions in a Madeira sauce, cooked medium rare and very nice. I’d thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
