Welcoming and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Meals were exceptionally tasty, well presented and good sized portions with larger meat to sauce ratio than most. Definitely worth a visit.

Recommend by neighbour in the place we were staying. Place was quite busy but able to get a table for two. Nice selection of chutney with the poppadoms but most impressed with the amount and quality of the chicken served in our two dishes. All to often a curry can have lots of sauce but not enough meat. This was very good. Just a shame that after walking miles each day we were too tired to manage a second visit.

Very good menu with lots of choice, the usual curry dishes and different ones to try.
Staff were happy to explain unfamiliar dishes on the menu and service was good.
We didn't book as it was mid week but would imagine that you might need to book at the weekend.
Would recommend to anyone that wants a really good quality curry in a relaxed atmosphere.

We have just returned from 3 nights in Jersey. Two of our evening meals were at Jaipur. If I am honest the 2nd visit was because not much was open on a Sunday, but if it hadn’t been good I would not have returned. The first night we happened upon the restaurant whilst wandering around the town. A quick look at trip advisor told us it was worth a visit.

We were greeted by a friendly waiter and were shown to a table. Menus were presented & we were left to peruse. A short while later our drinks order was taken - a bottle of Malbec & we also ordered 3 poppadoms & chutneys. Now, before I go any further a word re the decor. This establishment is not your usual run of the mill Indian, it is a class above; linen placemats, nice large glasses and everything spotlessly clean. When the poppadoms arrived the accompanying chutneys were
in a ceramic tray & the raita was served in a small ceramic jug. All very nice.

We placed our order, I selected a vegetarian pathia & the husband opted for a lamb shank in a rich spiced sauce. We ordered a side of Gobi Gulistan (cauliflower & peas), a garlic naan & a paratha.

We settled down to munch the pops, the chutneys were lime pickle, mango, diced onions, tomatoes & cucumber with coriander and a devine cabbage pickle & a raita. All of which were lovely. The main courses arrived all served very nicely garnished with cucumbers & herbs. My Pathia was beautiful but the star of the meal for me was the garlic naan, it was light, bubbly, garlicky and buttery; a pillow from heaven. The husbands lamb shank was very tender, falling off the bone, with the right amount of spice and the paratha light and tasty. This restaurant certainly takes Indian food to a new level.

The second night the food was equally as good, I had the naan again to make sure it wasn’t a fluke - it wasn’t. I had a dopiaza & the husband selected a chicken breast off the specials which was lightly spiced in a rice sauce. Both were superb.

Well done Jaipur it is refreshing to have Indian food served with style & taste
