This lovely, historic hotel takes you back in time. The huge lobby with so many original fixtures* reminds you that hotels used to be unique palaces and not the cookie-cutters of today.
From arrival to departure the service was impeccable.
I stayed three nights while I discovered the area and it was always a pleasure to drive back in and valet the car.
I had a lovely suite which oodles of room. A comfortable bed with a nice bathroom is all I need yet I also had a living room with extra television if I felt like spreading out.
I had to ask for a refrigerator to be delivered as I'm a tea drinker who travels with milk and that arrived in a jiffy.
The room has a work desk, two TVs, a coffee maker, good included WIFI and sofa and chairs.
It's in the centre of town so I was able to walk to the many restaurants in the downtown area.
I highly recommend this property in lovely town of Chattanooga.
