This was just an overnight after a long day of repair work nearby. We called for reservations and they charged our credit card right away even though the lady on the phone said it was just to "hold" the spot. Price of $39 seems high even with Good Sam discount. Park is on the corner of I-29 and 12th Street which is the main road into downtown Sioux Falls. Very busy area and the noise level is constantly high.

Our full hookup pull thru in the west campground was asphalt, level, shady and super tight. We were very close to the rig next to us. No fire ring or picnic table. Wifi was spotty. Campground location is convenient to food, shopping, the mall and businesses. You're definitely paying for the convenience. There are two sides to this place - the west campground is old, run down and has very narrow pull thrus where they put a lot of overnights but it's furthest away from the interstate; the south campground has paved pull thrus and back ins and has been recently renovated but is so close to I-29 you can feel the ground shake from the traffic. We slept very well in the west campground.

If you're coming from the interstate, you won't be able to turn directly into the main park entrance due to the median. You will have to go to the next light and make a U-turn. There isn't enough room for many big rigs to make that U-turn especially if you're towing. We checked Google Maps and took Exit 80 from I-29 and used side streets to avoid making the U-turn with our 40' motorhome and tow dolly. You can call the office and get directions as well. This park was fine for overnight but we won't stay here again.

Room Tip: Call ahead or check Google Maps to avoid the U-turn if you're a big rig

Just a quick overnight stay for us. Had #112 in south campground - pull through. Currently have a lot of pipeline workers staying here, so they are very busy. Be sure to make a reservation. Our site was a good size area and we cooked out that night. Office personnel were nice and took us to our site. Fine for a quick stay. Worst con is the location - it is close to the interstate so it is very noisy.

Your choice is pricey with no trees or this place with Trees. I enjoyed our stay at Tower campground with a 37 foot 5th wheel pull through site and we had lots of room. Clean and well maintained. Many long term working rigs here which is a plus because they work all day while I get to use the bathroom and laundry room and it is empty. There are actually 2 separate camp areas, South and West, I was in the South section which is located right next to highway 90 which was fine because that makes the location right off the highway. All of our hookups, water/elect/cable/sewer worked well. The Park entrance is wide and easy to drive into. A little confusion around the office area. Just park your rig on the side of the entrance road and walk to the office to register, because if you pull up to the office there is no exit road, but they have put huge signs that read - keep out. We visited Sioux Falls park with the beautiful water falls. It is worth the short drive there, but don't take your trailer, it is in the middle of town.

two sides to this campground, south side and west side on the south side its half ways nice, charge a lot for no amenities except laundry and shower. the west side not so good very muddy when it rains rusty old water hookups close to ground makes hookup hard lots very close together. this side of the park could use an update some electric box's need replacing and it is very noisy bath and laundry very old.
Been coming here off and on for job travel and only place in winter. this is a beware and what to look for when parking. great for staying a day or two close to shopping.

Very nice grassy clean lots of shade. Very large parking RV spaces. Very private with little Squirrels running everywhere. The place is very quite nice people all around. But Highway noise is unbearable can not sit outside to enjoy the nice weather we had. Had to be inside with door shut because of the Highway that runs along the side of the campground. Midnight got quieter so we could get some sleep. Had to run the air conditioner non stop to help with the highway noise Yes that bad. So forget TV could not hear it. Could not eat outside to loud to even think. We were hoping for a quite week so glad to get to leave Will not be back because of the noise that bad.
