Being set next to the highway (I-29), the noise of the vehicles will drive you bonkers and not provide you a good rest--especially if you are in a tent.
Speaking of tents, tent camping is a joke. It is settled between trailers and a wooden fence-- a thin strip where it feels more like you are lurking behind a trailer's backyard. There is only one picnic table because the trailer guests have taken them to their sites.
Parking too is horrendous for tenters. You can't park on the grass, or you will get towed. The one area is by the back gated exit. The problem is there are wooden storage sheds taking up parking. In addition to my stay was a trailer who parked along side the area with a BBQ grill that blocked the roadway. Horrendous! I paid $20 and feels like I got ripped off--bad sleep, no parking, and would not suggest other tenters to camp here.
The only good thing about my stay was the excellent bathroom facilities. They are clean and have great water pressure with hot showers.More
