The pier holds the state record for Spanish Mackerel and hosts numerous fishing tournaments. The pier's BARnacles Bar & Grille offers tasty food and drinks in a casual atmosphere. This was always our go to pier and we always made a trip each visit. So sad to see it destroyed. Hoping they decide to rebuild in the future.

Spent a lot of time hanging out on the pier watching the fishermen. I was amazed at the sharks in the water. I stayed for hours and just watched in amazement.

While the pier isn't in working condition, it was a wish of mine to walk from our hotel to the area while we traveled for my birthday. It was amazing to walk under the pier and see the waves lapping up around the wooden posts.
