I have to say that the house was absolutely beautiful. The furnishings were incredible. Breakfast was good. When we arrived on a Thursday afternoon It was about 95ﾟ out. We went to the front door rang the bell but there was no answer. We went around to the back door knocked on the door again no answer. So we sat out front for a little bit then walked around the house again and finally the Housekeeper open the door. She asked us if we were expected? Well we said we do have a reservation At which time she made a phone call and was told by the owner that she could give us a key and show us our room. We were up on the 3rd floor and It was so hot that it took hours to cool the room down . It would have been nice if someone had put the air conditioning on earlier in the day. Remember it was a 95ﾟ that day. We hung out waiting for the innkeeper as we had some questions about the area and maybe some input on some good restaurants. We never saw him Until breakfast the next morning. Not only did we not see him but we did not see a single soul. So here we were alone in this giant beautiful home feeling like we were in an episode of a scary movie. We did come to find out...I have to say that the house was absolutely beautiful. Once Friday night came and there were other guests around the atmosphere was a little more welcoming. The question of would we go back again? If we did it would have to be on a weekend. I'm not going to say we had a bad time we did have a good time . It just didn't have the warmth of other b&b's that we have visited.
I do have to say the place was beautiful and very clean which makes it inviting. Try it!More
