Frequently go with friends for a break in the day and to be inspired by the ever-changing landscape and vistas! Wear comfortable walking shoes and brown bag your lunch! Pretty picnic spots!

Chanticleer is a beautiful walk through a lovely estate with many different zones a gardens. They even have their own woodworker who creates all of these beautiful chairs and benches through out the gardens so you can sit and enjoy. They have the "ruins" and a huge koi pond. They have these beautiful works of art that house the booklets of what is in each specific garden so you know what you are looking at. Some of the trails are paved for easier transport if you have special needs. You are also allowed to walk on the ground which is great for the kids- they do not have to stay on the path. Oh and they have a bridge that looks like a huge fallen log. It really is so much fun for all ages. Just an FYI- there is no food sold here so just be aware. We get a family pass so we can visit all year.

What a lovely surprise we found in this location. The paths are long enough to get good exercise for a five year old, the surroundings are beautiful, and there are all kinds of neat features along the way. Definitely worth a visit!
