We spent a week in a "primitive cabin" which had a stove, fridge, and microwave although not running water. However the pump was only about 50 feet away. The creek which tumbled past the front of the cabin was quite high at the beginning, after some heavy rain, but was just a picturesque babbling brook in a few days. We enjoyed a couple of nature hikes with the park ranger, one of which went to Adams falls and also travelled a few miles up the mountain to the bog at the top which was also well worth a visit. The shower/bathroom facilities were clean and nearby, and well-lit and secure (a key was needed.) The park staff were very considerate and helpful. It was a shady and cool refuge in summer. Ligonier was only a short drive away for a little history at the fort, and shopping.
