im a tough critic and this place is great..multiple trips here never disappointed. always get the fish and its spot on..big portions cheap prices ..great all around

Came here on a Saturday night. Busy but not overly crowded. Able to follow Covid protocols with table spacing. Beer selection was very good and reasonably price. Food-wise, the portions are huge and very good. Had the French Dip which was almost too big to finish. Friend had the "small" Atlantic cod sandwich which was too big to finish - I can only imagine what the "large" Atlantic cod sandwich was like. Our server, Alicia was very friendly and helpful while navigating the menu. Nice to have the manager stop by and ask how the meal was too. Very nice place to dine on Neville Island - will definitely be back.

We have been to Carmody's 3 or 4 times in the last few months and we are loving it! First of all, they are excellent at keeping health standards during Covid. Every employee wears their mask the correct way. Tables are apart and they sanitize well.

Their food is fantastic! The prime rib special on the weekends is amazing. The prime rib melts in your mouth, it is that good. The moms chicken is fantastic. The onion rings are handmade and delicious. My husband loved his Reuben. Everything, every time is wonderful.

The service is first class. The waitresses are always on the ball, bring refills, suggest something from the menu, stop for a quick conversation, or bring the check. The managers have been very nice and are happy that you chose their restaurant for dinner. A little out of the way, but you will be glad you made the trip.

I was short on time and asked the server what was fast. She suggested the Reuben and it was not only quick to the table but absolutely delicious. Piping hot and the fries were really good as well. It was a little pricy for lunch as I paid $20.00 with tip.

Everything is homemade. The Bavarian pretzel sticks are a must try. I had the French Dip sandwich with homemade onion rings which was excellent. There was so much meat that I took 1/2 home. My husband had the cod fish sandwich which was also quite large and full of flavor.
