By luck we found this motel on our two day journey from Sydney to Melbourne it was a good find.

The place was lovely and clean, the staff very welcoming and the location was close to the town and the bowling club.

It was good value for money.

Will call again when next in the area

My wife and I spent a we here relaxing, there are only four units so the noise level stays low. The unit we had was comfortable. The complex is located close to town and street noise is hardly noticeable. The owners are very easy going.

Stayed overnight at this little gem. If your looking for modern décor and luxury, forget it. BUT if you are looking for peace and cleanliness and close proximity to town, you will get it here at the Sandpiper. Would love to return and stay for a longer period. Our wonderful hosts tell us they have this lovely little establishment up for sale. Do hope new owners keep things as neat and clean as Glenn and Shirley. Gardens so neat and pretty (think this is Shirley's domain!!). Oh and free WIFI what a bonus.

Glen and Shirley made this stay a wonderful experience. The units were very clean, extremely comfortable and had every thing a family of four would need!

Location was excellent, and we will most certainly stay here again.

Thanks Glen and Shirley.

Room Tip: The rooms are north facing and we had the unit directly above the pool. Plenty of sunshine and just a great pick.

My boyfriend and I spent one night in Unit 3 (first floor, with balcony) and would definitely stay here again! Located in a central location, with the town centre, RSL, and lake under a 10 minute walk away, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet this unit was. Although the unit is dated, it was clean, comfortable and quite large (although one of the two bedrooms was locked). For those wishing to stay overnight (as we did) expect to pay extra for the stove and oven to work - these appliances are shut off in order to save energy. To stay one night, we payed $109- through the Sandpiper Holiday Units website which is very good value for money considering what we got. I would also like to thank Glen (the owner) who was very accommodating. Definitely recommended!
