Don't bother if you drive a car there is better places in the area with free parking, The council even charge parking to go to the beach. The place has gone to the dogs.

Visited the market yesterday and got a real buzz from the place. I was surprised it wasn't busier.
Lots of small businesses promoting and selling good quality regional produce.
There's an al-fresco communal eating area under cover where we enjoyed a platter of a dozen fresh oysters (ready shucked) and a fresh cup melon and apple smoothie. Would have preferred a small glass of champagne or prosecco though .
We bought cheeses, bread and other local delicacies for our lunch.
Live music playing throughout. A great community event that we thoroughly enjoyed.

This market is the fresh produce one on Thursday mornings (not the weekend market, there's another entry for that.
Great local produce, blue berries by the bucket, local bananas (Bananaman), local apples, fresh bread, sprouts, tomatos, root vegetables and tropical fruit when in season.
Also great local musos- usually one at each end, somewhere to get coffee / fresh juice and breakfast/brunch too.
