We went hoping to see some of the stalls selling clothing, home made products etc and was dissapointed. Nice coffee but, and a selection of vans to buy breakfast. Lots stall selling veggies and produce.

We visited on the first September market and although we left empty handed, it was quite good. There's a lot of natural treatments and boho style clothing which isn't our scene but the market overall had decent variety. There were only two stalls selling any fresh produce unfortunately.

This market is really good with local and organic products.
The best is to have a breakfast at the market, it's just fresh and homemade products :)
There are also some musicians, so the atmosphere is really nice!

My 2nd Day visit 2/8/2017 drove down from Surfer Paradise to Byron Bay Market. It is a nice local market with nice pleasant clothing, food, live bands, art works. Its a good and fun place to visit, especially if you are here to shop this is one of the place you may get a good bargain compare to the shops in the byron town area.

We return again because my gf wanted to try to get more dresses, but unfortunately we return on the Thursday which was a farmers market theme. But still there are nice organic fruits and vegetables which are so tasty... Have you try to eat a sweet pea without having to wash the organic sweet peas? Not me, But I was offered by the sweet farmer to try it. And it was awesome indeed.
In my country Singapore, we do not get these truely fresh and sweetness of the organic vegetables.
Well done Australian farmers and keep it going...
A place that you must be there to taste it

Its worth going to for sure. The Scent of incense will be thick in the air, and while the amount of handcrafted this and that, and tie-dye shirts may become a bit too much, go along for the experience. It is Byron Bay.

Bonus Points if you count the number of young children with Dreads and no shoes
