What a lovely experience our visit to The Driftwood Cafe was! We had afternoon tea freshly made sandwiches, beautiful cakes and scones baked just a couple of hours prior to our visit. Truly scrumptious and well worth a visit!!

I’ve been here numerous times with my young son and my wife. Our family is about to be expanded by one and we will no doubt continue to enjoy a cheeky hot chocolate or a energy boosting English breakfast here for years to come. This is certainly a local restaurant that deserves your hard-earned cash.

I visited here with my Mum, after a friends recommendation. It is tucked away down Victoria Road in New Brighton and it is a true hidden gem!
It is so welcoming and so well set out. The staff were friendly - but not overly so - and the afternoon tea was one of the best we have had - we like our afternoon tea outings! The sandwiches were freshly made order and the lemon drizzle cake - divine. The scones just crumbled with their freshness - just lovely.
We will be returning here and recommending it to family and friends - thank you Driftwood Cafe.

Tucked away at the bottom of Victoria Road, Driftwood is a little haven in New Brighton. Service is welcoming and smilie, the poached eggs are excellent but the biggest surprise was the vegan scones. We’re vegetarians but sometimes we find vegan food not our cup of tea. Nevertheless we tried the vegan scones... served with cream and jam, they were freshly baked and delicious. You can bring dogs here - one of the few places in New Brighton - and sit outside in the summer with blankets provided in case it’s a bit chilly. An real find and well worth a visit
