We had a wonderful night in Mary's room. At the time we were the only guests in the house, and Steve showed us all the other rooms. Each had something special to it, and each its own history. The house was decorated for the holidays and looked cozy and beautiful. We had a delicious breakfast in the dining room. Cannot wait to return and explore more of the house.

While we decorate it for other holidays/seasons Christmas is our favorite. Guests who stay with us multiple times often say that they notice a different detail each time. My new wife and sister stayed at Spencer House and must say this was the greatest weekend we have ever had. The home was so beautiful and the service from the owners was top notch. Breakfast was amazing. Their dog Bailey was so friendly. We look forward to staying again in the near future.

Spencer house bed and breakfast was very historic and beautiful. The room was very clean, climate controlled, roomy, and comfortable. We stayed for the weekend and both breakfasts that we had were amazing! Your care takers Steve and Lisa are really pleasant and accommodating. Overall, a great experience. We will go back.

We were treated to a weekend at Spencer House as an anniversary gift. It was a perfect getaway for a weekend trip. Steve and Lisa could not have been better hosts and we enjoyed hearing about the history of the house from them. Our room was excellent, very comfortable and everything we could have hoped for. Breakfast on both days was amazing, Lisa is a wonderful cook. The house is clean and comfortable and I enjoyed the complimentary bottled water, and candy that was left in our room. The entire house is very tidy and our concerns about COVID were put to rest, with hand sanitizer throughout, socially distanced breakfast seating, and reminders to guests to wear their masks. I highly recommend, we will definitely be back, we plan to bring our son for a tripe to Presque Isle

Amazing Bed and Breakfast. A must visit if you are heading to the Erie area. A beautiful home with attention to original detail throughout. Knowledgeable owners who share, interesting, in-depth history of the home. Breakfasts are delicious with generous portions. The home is very well maintained, clean and within walking distance to so much in downtown Erie (locally owned restaurants, the Gannon University Campus, nearby sporting venues etc.) A ten minute drive to near-by Presque Isle. Rooms are spacious, off street parking options, Wi-Fi, a large porch in the front for outdoor seating/relaxation. I have stayed at many Bed and Breakfasts over the last 10 years and this by far, has been my favorite. Will definitely be returning. Thank you Steve and Lisa for such wonderful accommodations!
