When we arrived we realized our room was on the main road. As I am a light sleeper, we asked if it would be possible to change. Luckily there was a room, and there was no problem. Breakfasts were delicious. It was my birthday and my husband had asked her if she could get a cake - which she did. She went over and above making us welcome. We plan on returning as there is so much this area has to offer.

Room Tip: I think all the rooms are gorgeous. Their really is not that much traffic on the main road, so I dont, think we would have had a problem with the first room.

Bedrooms were clean, comfortable, and so well appointed that they felt more like rooms in a boutique hotel than a bed and breakfast. The breakfast alone was well worth the price of the whole stay-- fresh fruit and yogurt, eggs with homemade pesto and fresh arugula... Lucille was hospitable, professional, and accessible.

Thank you. The breakfast dish you mentioned is in honor of Dr. Seuss's Green Eggs and Ham and is made with fresh ingredients, which are purchased locally, if possible. Hope you will visit our area again.

Our room was large, very clean, private and well appointed. Our breakfast was Fantastic! The owner, Lucy, was very gracious. We really enjoyed our stay and will surely stay there again whenever we're in the area.

Thank you for review and for your comment on breakfast. I always try to give a little more because our guests generally want something that is not typical. I hope you will return to this area again.

We stayed only one night and had to leave very early the next morning to pick up a friend from the train but Lucy was very accommodating, and the house was lovely, clean, and had lots of interesting historical touches. Great bed, nice shower, homemade muesli, excellent coffee, and just a block from the trail. We spent the afternoon on the trail riding eastward, saw beautiful wildflowers and ramps growing along the way, and surprising waterfalls around several bends. Short and sweet get-away!

My wife and I spent a Saturday night here in April 2017. We drove from Washington DC and visited Duncan House on the Saturday afternoon and Falling Water on the Sunday morning. Connellsville is perfectly situated in-between the two properties and this bed-and-breakfast is really a little gem. We stayed in the German room which was beautifully lit up by the sun in the early evening. Really nice place and fantastic breakfast
