Located two blocks north of the Willamette Heritage Center, this diner was modestly priced, served large and tasty portions, and had friendly service. I had chicken salad wrap which came with a side salad and slice of French bread for $9.50. My wife had a turkey melt sandwich for $10. The soft drinks added another $6.

First time at this breakfast/ lunch spot. Two of us ordered the chicken bento bowl ( wok fried chicken and veggies with steamed rice and dipping sauces) and were impressed with the perfectly done fresh vegetables- neither over or undercooked! And perfect rice. A couple ordered quinoa lentil soup and the other two in our party of six ordered the Southwest chicken salad which looked amazing. Everyone was happy with their choices. Menu had many interesting items. They have gluten free options, too. No desserts but there's a nice cupcake/ cookie shop a few doors down. No parking lot- all the nearby street parking is metered. Light, bright dining room.Pleasant service, too.

This place had been on our radar for quite a while. Finally got there. It was a little after 1 PM on a Saturday, very busy and VERY LOUD inside. The service and food coming to our table was fairly quick, but definitely not fast food. I tried their breakfast special of steak tacos. OMG! They were fabulous. Three soft tortillas filled with steak, cheese, and cilantro with a side of homemade salsa and red potatoes. Really great for $10. My wife had the Sassy Burger, which was very good. The onion rings that came with that dish needed to be cooked a wee bit longer, but were still among the best that she has ever had. Topping off our meal was an Orange Dream milkshake. It was really, really good.. Oh, yeah! Cleanliness of the restaurant was pretty good, with the restrooms well maintained, but the floor around the tables had lots of dropped food lying around. They could do a better job of keeping the floor clean. Overall, can't wait to go back and try more breakfast choices. The plates that we saw on other tables were very enticing. Several items on the menu were gluten free, including their chicken strips. Probably worth a try whether you need gluten free or not.

Hubby has celiac disease and I also eat gluten free. This place understands cross contamination and does a great job! Loved the gf onion rings and sandwiches. Everything was delicious and fresh. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Would love to try this place for breakfast, looked amazing!
