Simple and exceptional menu. Collard greens, frog legs, jambalaya, catfish, okra, and of course, oysters just about any way you can think of. Diverse selection in the bar menu including local wine, beer, spirits.

Cool part of Portland and when the weather is nice and the roll up garage door is open this is a fun hang out.

We visited EaT: An Oyster Bar for Sunday brunch. We just stopped by and had no idea that we would have a wonderful brunch AND amazing jazz music. The band was 5 pieces, and were lovely. The music and entertainment was so much fun. We had biscuit sausage egg breakfasts, with homemade beignets and Build Your Own bloody marys. It was perfect. We will definitely be back!!

The turtle soup was disgusting. The catfish was terrible and over salted. The gumbo was mediocre at best. Beer comes in a 10 oz glass. Overall a pretty poor experience. Oh, and the server couldn't answer any questions.

Great hurricanes! Was like I was back in Memphis :)
Other great drinks as well.
All of the food we had was delicious. Good selection of oysters (with a great hot oil mix on the table). The crawfish and andouille mac and cheese was great.
Fun, nice staff!
We will go back for sure.
