We stayed in the Flagship 2-Bedroom #414 for 3 nights in early January. It exceeded all expectations. The view was superb - Ecola Creek and the ocean literally under our feet.
The quality of the construction was wonderful - crown moulding, solid wood doors. The large deck has a glass windbreak which made it perfect for a winter retreat. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen well-equipped with a dining table to seat 6 comfortably as well as an outdoor table with 4 chair. Can't wait to go again.

Paid for ocean view, had large truck right in front window. Called office they said it was a public street could not do anything. This from should not be sold as ocean view even car park in directly in front of your window. Room 303

Room tip: Get an upper floor room

We decide to stay some where different than our regular digs. It was nice to stay in Cannon Beach when the crowds from the summer are gone. Quite and relaxing with a bonus of a gas fireplace but a bit over priced compared to staying in a room double the size at a Shilo or Best Western.

I have stayed at The Waves many times over the last 10+ years and every time it has been a fantastic time away. I have gone both solo for a personal retreat, and with my partner for a vacation, and have never been disappointed. The rooms are beautiful and clearly planned with attention to detail and comfort, and the view is unbeatable. And just as importantly, the staff has always be friendly and gracious, and really go out of their way to make sure that everything goes well for our stay. It is always my first choice for a place to stay in Cannon Beach.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite with partial view of the beach. It was perfect - cozy and warm. Full kitchen allowed us to fix our Christmas dinner the way we wanted. Beds were very comfortable. We got jigsaw puzzles and movies from the office and just nestled in - except for the walks on the beach. Best of all, everything is just a short walk from The Waves, so the car stayed parked for the entire time we were there. Perfect.
