Kettering residents are so lucky to have facilities like the Rec Center and Rosewood Center for the Arts. Both facilities offer a wide range of activities and classes. The Rec Center has incredibly diverse activities available for any age. I have taken several of the scheduled exercise classes and they have been very well attended. It is a joy to see that this facility is so well used; oftentimes in the evenings parking is at a premium. The fitness center is large enough and offers so many different types of equipment that seldom is there a wait for anything. The studios where classes are held are large, clean and have a huge array of accessories for any class. I have lived in several cities and Kettering by far manages all facilities and infostructure better than any others.

Great place to take the kids for (indoor) ice skating. There are seats around the ice to sit and rest/watch. There is plenty of room to move around on the ice. Great time!

This is a fantastic place that offers so much to the community. I know they have exercise facilities, lots of artsy classes and more... but I am a member of the pool section. And it is the best pool I've ever had a membership to.

Naturally you can go to the indoor pool all year long. But in the summer there is a fabulous Waterpark for all ages right in the rear of the complex. Kids come here in droves to go down the slides and play in the various levels of attached pools.

I have taken my grandchildren here and they enjoyed it immensely. And I was able to float around one of the pools that actually has a counter-clockwise current and then watch as my grands took their turn on the big slides.

Supervision is EXCELLENT. You don't need to worry that a kid will not be watched because the young lifeguards here have their craft down to a science. They keep a very close eye on all the over-excited little ones and do a fantastic job.

In the winter I can go take advantage of the indoor pool for swimming laps and then take a turn in the deliciously hot whirlpool. Best medicine in the world!

And if you're a Kettering resident, the price is unbeatable. Probably still is even if you don't live or work in the Kettering area. But I won't be spreading that around because I want this place limited enough that I can enjoy it any day of the year.

A well-kept secret in the Kettering area... but don't say I said so because even though it is true, I don't want to generate too much traffic!!!

We've been members for over 20 years. I use the track, the drop-in classes (Pilates, Zumba, and cardio-Pilates combo), the weight room (weight machines, treadmill, cross-trainer) but they offer a zillion other things (swimming, ice skating, free weights, tons of other classes, other cardio machines (with a view onto the water park). Wonderful teachers and trainers.
