I relocated to Cleveland and chose this hotel because they allow dogs, and as a silver honors member I prefer to stay at Hilton. The hotel is really nice and I really liked my room but that is about all. When I parked I step out of my car to see an empty liquor bottle in the parking lot. The lady that checked me in leaves a lot to be desired. She is absolutely the WORST!!!! Her attitude is offensive. She interrogated me at check-in because I booked on a friends and family rate, for which I have done on my account for over two years. If it were not for the fact that I paid a $75 non-refundable deposit for my dog, I would check out and stay somewhere else. I apologize for interrupting the employees Facebook time, but I simply wanted to check into my room. I asked for my free water and was rudely informed that because I booked on a friends and family rate, I do not get water. Really? Then she said "you can get ONE". I commented to her that I have NEVER had to go though so much at a Hilton, and she responded that she has been working at Hilton for seven years. My only question is how do you let someone with such a nasty attitude work in customer service/hospitality role for so long?
