Lovely, modern and well appointed studio providing everything you need. Beautiful view and quiet location yet close enough to Coles Bay and Freychinet peninsula. Continental breakfast was generous and the host was extremely helpful and friendly.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Eagle Peaks. The studio was perfect for two people and very clean and modern. Emily provided breakfast each morning consisting of cereal yogurt, bread for toast with marmalade/jam/Vegemite. Tea, coffee and milk was also provided. There is a small deck outside which is perfect to sit and enjoy the view over Great Oyster Bay (unfortunately it was raining when we were there!). Sandpiper Beach is within walking distance - a beautiful quiet sandy beach which is known for attracting nesting birds. It is within easy access to many attractions around the Park. As one reviewer pointed out WiFi was sporadic but usually could get a signal outside.

Room tip: Quite location, good views, easy access to beach

Eagle Peaks consists of two small studio housekeeping units and one larger house all with views of Great Oyster Bay hard by Freycinet National Park. The units are immaculate and very well equipped. The only drawbacks are 1) the somewhat spare "do it yourself" breakfast of cereal and toast (we had to supplement with fruit and yogurt from local stores) and 2) the very weak wifi - not even enough to send or receive e-mail except on a smartphone. These small issues aside, the place gets a 100 A+ recommendation,

Room tip: both of the studio units seemed the same. Did not inspect the larger unit.

We had a very comfortable and really liked our 2 night stay at Eagle Peaks. We found Emily to be very accommodating without being intrusive. The added touches like a map with local information and her recommendations for eating was great. The place was very clean and modern. We personally appreciated the clever architecture of the buildings. It is in a quiet residential area which made our stay peaceful. Loved our distant view over the water. Would highly recommend.

We were very disappointed by our stay at Eagle Peaks and would recommend not staying here. While the house itself was beautiful, we felt like we were being watched and monitored by the host for the entire stay and it made us feel incredibly uncomfortable and like our privacy was being violated. For example, on one night during our stay we have my brother in law and his partner over for dinner (at 6.45pm) and within 2 minutes of him arriving at the property the host and her husband knocked on our door and demanded to know if we had more than 2 guests in the apartment. This was completely out of line and a huge invasion of our privacy, not to mention that there was no reference of the ridiculous 2 person rule in the terms and conditions when we booked the property. We were staying in the Upper residence and paid the extra money to have the extra space and the kitchen so that we could cook dinner and have 2 guests over for dinner. For the price we were paying it was really disappointing that we were made to feel this way during our stay and it really ruined our experience at the beautiful Coles Bay.
