We stayed for two quick nights at the end of a two week tour of Northern England and Scotland. Our room was well appointed and comfortable, #14 ... I don't recall the exact description but it had big windows, a sofa, a double bed, and a bath in the bathroom. We stayed in four different hotels on this trip and I am pleased to say this was the cleanest of them all!! The breakfast was very nice, and the hosts were very easy going, especially when we were checking out very early the last morning. Would definitely stay here again ... only concern would be with big luggage, the stairs could be a trial -- we just brought overnight bags and left the bulky bits with family!

First time staying here won’t be the last. Spotlessly clean room and very tastefully decorated. We stayed here on a very cold Saturday but our room was so warm we had to turn the heating down. We had a lovely large room with a television that offered internet and netflicks. This B&B is run by a lovely couple who were very helpful. Freshly cooked breakfast exceptionally tasty ingredients. We will definitely be back.

This was my second stay at Rosebank and it was as good as the first. Michelle and her staff made me feel welcome. A very clean, comfortable and quiet B&B close to the town centre and the beach and of course the variety of restaurants on Ocean Road. The breakfast was first class and the eggs done to perfection.

Room Tip: Room 2 is at the back of the house and quiet.

Stopped here when visiting our daughter at uni. We usually stop in Newcastle as it’s convenient but it’s was exceptionally busy and very expensive on this weekend .. so we looked further afield and this popped up. A wonderful guest house with beautiful and comfortable rooms. Really liked the touch of the sofa in the room. Amazing hosts who very gracious and really helpful. Breakfast fresh and cooked to order. Wonderful. Will definitely stay here again.

This is an immaculate guest house run by extremely friendly, efficient and professional people. Our room was upgraded upon arrival which was a lovely surprise. There is plenty of parking immediately outside but not reserved for guests so first come first served. I can imagine in busier months it may be an issue, however for us in December parking spaces were available. Our room was large and comfortable, the heating was easy to adjust and there was bottled water as well as tea and coffee in our room. Mike and Michelle, the owners were very friendly as were the rest of the staff. Breakfast was fab. I always say a good hotel can be judged on its breakfast and the Rosebank was spot on with theirs. A nice choice on the menu including omelette and vegetarian options.
We had a lovely stay here and will definately return. Thank you.
