Service not consistent.
One girl at front desk was quite helpful at first, but then when we went back 2 minutes later because we realised that she forgot to explain something important to us, she was busy talking to colleagues whilst a large queue of customers formed.
We gave up after 10 minutes.
Most irritatingly, the reception staff and cafe staff (who had wandered over) were engaged in a loud discussion all about their hours, salary and their dislike of management. We know a lot of details about their hourly wages etc.
Things were similar at the spa. There was a long queue at reception, mostly because 2 staff members were animatedly engaged in helping a customer choose a birthday present. Seemed obvious that 1 should help him and 1 should pay attention to the growing queue.
We got into the spa after 25 minutes.
My locker did not work, so I had to go back out to reception (another queue, staff still focused on other things, one was clearly typing on her phone and talking too loudly about her ex boyfriend ).
Once back inside, the spa was quite nice. Steam rooms had a peculiar smell. Saunas very good. Standard of cleaning very poor.
Only 2 showers in the whole spa, both very dirty, and long queues again.
