We used to live in Croydon and Galicia was our favourite haunt. We have been away for over ten years now and went back with some friends to reminisce
Amazingly, the restaurant manager- who used to be the junior waiter - recognised us and made us so welcome. There were also other staff members who we recognised, so they obviously treat staff well and get loyalty in exchange.
The menu was similar to what it was, traditional tapas dishes (in racione sized portions rather than true tapas).
We ordered 12 dishes between us and not a single one was disappointing. Piping hot when they should have been, nicely cold when they should have been. Special mention to the delicious kidneys.
Absolutely loved it, busy and loud, good atmosphere and delicious well priced food. Finished with a few martini espresso cocktails
Fantastic!
