The pubs up Bailey Street are momentarily welcoming - until you enter and assailed by raucous music. So I asked at the organic food store about somewhere 'cosy' for lunch.Directed here - otherwise, i would not have found it as it is easy to walk past the narrow passage that leads to the courtyard where it is located. It was worth it. Good French onion tart. Tea not so good but OK. Similar Oswestry disease of mediocre music but not as oppressive as in some other places.

I’m sat here enjoying the best Moroccan Tagine made with chicken spinach and olives (for a reasonable price).
The staff are friendly and chatty to those who want to interact.
Coffee comes as you want it. I got an extra shot with cold milk as I requested and it was great coffee!
The place is comfortable, warm and quiet. The perfect place to relax and take time out

We popped in at lunchtime feeling very hungry and ordered 2 paninis and a bowl of chips to share. Food was tasty and filling, the huge bowl of chips were the best we have had for ages! Service was friendly and efficient and the surrounding comfortable and relaxed. We will definitely return.

Very busy in town yesterday and I wanted a quick quiet lunch. Decided to try Wednesdays as it down an alley, clear of the "traffic".
Very helpful staff and very comfortable seating. Unusual menu selections which included my all time favourite sandwich - FISH FINGERS. Arrived quickly, lovely well cooked juicy fish in quality bread. A really good hot snack and very nice coffee to wash it down.
