The pubs up Bailey Street are momentarily welcoming - until you enter and assailed by raucous music. So I asked at the organic food store about somewhere 'cosy' for lunch.Directed here - otherwise, i would not have found it as it is easy to walk past the narrow passage that leads to the courtyard where it is located. It was worth it. Good French onion tart. Tea not so good but OK. Similar Oswestry disease of mediocre music but not as oppressive as in some other places.
