Stopped off here on our way to Cambridge from Nottingham and really glad we did! Friendly welcome, really good wine and a menus with loads of options as well as seasonal specials. Really felt we’d found a gem of a place. Service throughout was excellent. Scallops and calves liver for starters which came with excellent sauces- Michelin star standard! Lamb rack and sea bass for mains which were both so well cooked. Decent prices too. Well worth a visit

Visited with my parents for an early Mothers' Day meal on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was packed. Friendly welcome and service throughout the meal. Lots to choose from on the menu to suit all tastes. My husband and father had starters - king prawns and nduja crostini - both very happy with their choices. Between us we had steaks and pasta dishes - my father can be quite picky but he proclaimed it the best steak he'd had for ages. For dessert we had tiramisu and lemon tart which is served with a shot of Limoncello - all homemade and delicious. A lovely little restaurant which makes you feel very welcome. Looking forward to the next visit.

My first experience here was amazing, service was delightful. I would recommend this place for any occasion as there is something for everyone. However I do insist you book, as it does get busy very quickly. This is certainly a perfect little Gem!

This restaurant maintains its longstanding reputation for very good food, good value, and great service.
Nothing fussy here just good old fashioned Italian culinary art

There was 4 of us on a very cold windy snowy night so it was quiet but still a very enjoyable evening. We had king prawns, soup & liver to start followed by rib eye steaks, lasagne & seafood fettuccine. All were delicious. Desserts were lemon tart, creme brûlée, assortment of ice creams & chocolate brownie, again all were fantastic, tasted great and presented beautifully. Total bill with drinks £167 .
