Popped in on spec during an England world cup match, so it was predictably quiet.

The young lady at front of house was very helpful, getting me a main course and a side that was both very filling and tasty.

Altogether a very nice meal and good service.

Meal, large specialty rice and 2.5 pints of lager was £25.10 (excluding a tip which I happily left).

We visited this lovely restaurant.Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was gorgeous. I had the salt and chilli king prawn starter and my partner had the capital ribs Excellent. The main courses were also of the same standard. We will return next time we are in Richmond. Don’t forget to book as we only just got in on the night

Super food, portions large, could have had less between between each person. Certainly worth a visit.

Popped in for a solo dinner a few weeks ago, having failed horribly to get into another place in Richmond already (on a Wednesday evening forsooth!). It was absolutely rammed full, and also dealing with a vibrant takeaway trade, but I was made to feel extremely welcome by the two ladies on front of house. They had mastered the art of getting all their customers on their side, rather than complaining about the lack of staff. You cannot do this without a) being very nice; and b) being very much in charge of your brief. Apparently they were expecting about five tables for the whole evening, and had not anticipated a full house. Really, the only thing that suffered was the inability to wash the glasses, which stacked up on the bar.

Place is relatively unprepossessing from outside - it looks like a take away Chinese, but inside there is no sign of this (except that you can get takeaway) - it's just a really nice restaurant. Food was perfectly standard fare - I had chicken and sweetcorn soup and beef with black bean sauce - both really good at the lowish price point.

Very happy I ended up here by accident. It would seem the Richmond food scene is thriving!!

We were so impressed by the food and service that we went back the following night - we weren't disappointed. The owner even gave us a bag of her homemade cookies - they were delicious.
